Boston has always been a great walking city, but it also provides one of the world’s best transit systems. A robust network of buses, subterranean trains, long-distance commuter rails, above-ground trolley, and even aquatic ferries to transport the large number of worker bees from one part of the bay to the heart of Boston.

Tip #1: Get a Charlie Card – Refilling your charlie card will not only save you time, but it will also save a tree or two!

Tip #2: Use Google Maps – Find the best transit route to your destination. It may involve a combination of trains, buses, and sometimes and uber.

Tip #3: Pay close attention while on a train or bus. Some stations may be skipped if there aren’t any passengers to pick up. Find the call tape to notify the driver of your upcoming stop.
